In January 2004, Lorenzo and Laura Velasco's dreams of owning their own family Mexican restaurant came true. For 30 years, they have been working in the restaurant business, starting from dishwasher, cook, busser, waiter, manager, and now owners of a restaurant located in Sedro-Woolley.

Lorenzo's has been awarded the Latino Business of the year award for Skagit County in the past and has also won the 2008 Skagit Business Pulse People Choice award. Recently, they received Peoples Choice Award for Skagit's best finalist in the Mexican Restaurant category 2019. All these accomplishments did not happen overnight. It took a great team of employees, encouraging family, and a 
supportive community.
